A letter to Pat's people
The Pat Skidmore Foundation is still going strong! The family, friends and supporters of Pat have taken time to grieve although they will always feel a void. Pat passed away quietly on December 10, 2006 surrounded by family and friends. He died of stage IV kidney cancer at the young age of 36. All remember Pat with great fondness as a dedicated husband, son, family member and friend to all. We are thankful to everyone who so generously donated to help Pat in his time of need. Now the Foundation is ready for the next step, to keep the benefit of knowing Pat Skidmore alive.
The Board of The Pat Skidmore Foundation is dedicated to finding ways to support people impacted by the devastating disease of Kidney cancer. As Pat loved life we are also focused on planning fun and enjoyable gatherings to promote awareness and raise donations for his cause. To date we have made contributions to the IU Medical Center for Kidney Cancer Research, VHL foundation, and North Central High School. There are plans to continue to support these programs as well as others in hopes of providing a direct impact.
Please continue to visit patskidmorefoundation.com for upcoming events, educational links, and to see how your support is helping others. Remember, there always was and is a benefit of knowing Pat Skidmore!
With thanks and gratitude,
The Board of the Pat Skidmore Foundation
